Baking Soda + Vinegar Preschool Science Activity- Fizzing Color

This is an easy and inexpensive preschool science experiment and a great go-to activity. It’s easy to set up and you don’t need lots of materials. Your child will love it and so will you.

2 and up

What you need:

  • Baking soda
  • Food coloring
  • Dropper
  • Vinegar

How to:
1. On a tray pour your baking soda.
2. Then, mix your vinegar and food coloring in small cups or cupcake pans.
3. Give your child the chance to use the dropper to suction the vinegar and sprinkle droplets in the baking soda.

This is a great fine motor skill activity that also helps children work on hand-eye coordination.
